Vasantī — Handwoven Bishnupuri Gadwal Silk Saree
Some sarees don't whisper. They sing.

The Vasantī is a handwoven Bishnupuri Gadwal Silk Saree  a textile tradition born at the confluence of two of India's most celebrated regional weaving legacies. Bishnupur, the ancient temple town of West Bengal, and Gadwal, the royal weaving centre of Telangana, come together in a fabric that carries the devotional energy of both  the softness of Bengal silk meeting the structural precision of Gadwal's cotton-silk construction.

Across the body, the saree moves through a magnificent interplay of parsley green, bright yellow, earthy brown and cerise pink colours that feel simultaneously ancient and alive, as though lifted directly from the floral offerings of a temple courtyard in full festival bloom. Each colour transitions with the characteristic rhythm of Gadwal weaving  structured, intentional, and deeply satisfying to the eye.
The defining glory of this saree is its handwoven pencil temple border the signature of the Gadwal tradition. Rendered in precise, narrow vertical lines that echo the towering shikharas of South Indian temples, this border is a masterclass in restraint and geometry. It frames the vibrant body with a sacred architectural rhythm, reminding you with every drape that this fabric was born in the shadow of temple walls and woven with devotional hands.

Lightweight yet richly textured, this saree drapes with an ease that makes it as comfortable for a long puja morning as it is for a festive afternoon celebration.
Pair with gold temple jewellery — a broad necklace, large earrings, and bangles. A blouse in cerise pink, bright yellow, or deep brown will honour the saree's festive spirit completely.
