Care Instructions
Dry clean recommended for the first wash to preserve zari and colors
If hand-washing, use cold water with a mild detergent; wash separately as colors may bleed slightly in the first few washes
Do not soak for long periods
Wash inside out to protect the zari border and pallu work
Do not wring or twist the fabric — gently squeeze out excess water
Dry in shade, away from direct sunlight, to prevent color fading
Iron on medium heat, preferably on the reverse side; avoid ironing directly over zari motifs
Store folded in a muslin/cotton cloth; avoid plastic covers for long-term storage
Refold along different lines periodically to prevent fabric wear at fold lines
