Product Details

Aamrapali — named after the legendary courtesan of Vaishali, celebrated for her unmatched beauty and grace — lends itself to a saree that carries the same bold, commanding presence. Rendered in a vivid, auspicious red, this piece is built for occasions that call for pure, unapologetic radiance.

Woven in raw mango silk, the fabric carries a distinctive slubbed texture and rich, structured drape — a weave prized for its natural sheen and substantial body, giving the saree a luxurious weight that flatters every fold. Across the red body, delicate zari buttis and scattered sequin work catch the light like a constellation, while the border blooms with a repeating scalloped floral medallion in antique gold, dense and richly detailed.

The pallu deepens into an intricate zari lattice, a fine diamond trellis interspersed with floral bursts, finished with a wide gold-on-red floral band along the hem — a design that carries the weight and grandeur expected of bridal and festive silks. The interplay of matte red silk against gleaming gold zari gives this saree a timeless, regal character.

This is a saree for the woman stepping into her most important moments — one who wants the richness of tradition worn boldly, without hesitation.

Pair with antique gold, kundan, or polki jewellery for a bridal or festive look. A contrasting blouse in gold, maroon, or emerald green will let the zari work take centre stage.

Care Instructions

Raw silk is rich and structured by nature — it holds its shape beautifully, but the zari work needs gentle care to keep its shine.

Dry Clean Only — do not machine or hand wash
Iron on low heat, always on the reverse side, avoiding direct heat on the zari border
Store folded in muslin or cotton cloth, away from direct sunlight, to preserve the vibrancy of the red and shine of the gold
Refold periodically along different lines to prevent permanent creasing
Handle with care to avoid snagging the zari work or sequins on jewellery or rough surfaces
Avoid direct contact with perfume or deodorant — spray well before draping
Blouse piece: Dry wash only
